Laboratory Services Wastewater Analysis Toxicity Testing Toxicity Testing
We provide Total Inhibition and Nitrification Inhibition testing of wastewater using a Strathtox respirometer. To provide a more detailed assessment of the impact of toxicity we can also provide treatability testing and microscopic analysis.
Respirometry can be used for the following:
- Isolation of potentially toxic/inhibitory wastestreams
- Health monitoring of biological processes
- Aeration optimisation
- Nitrification monitoring
Testing can be carried out in our laboratory or on site and we can provide additional support to troubleshoot where toxicity events have occured or to optimise aeration efficiency with the potential to provide significant cost savings.
