• Process evaluation of nitrification options for the Davyhulme STW, Manchester, the second largest treatment plant in the UK with a population equivalent of 1.1 million
• Technical consultant for the design of a selector system and derivation of aeration control strategy for the Blackburn Meadows Sewage Treatment Works, Sheffield, UK which has a population equivalent of 650,000
• Evaluation of treatment options for dye house wastewaters in Mauritius utilising activated sludge based treatment systems
• Design of an effluent treatment and re-use scheme for the Shotton Paper Mill, UK with a flow rate of 20,000 m3/d
• Evaluation of UASB treatment in Mauritius for treating sugar-cane wastewater and mixed domestic industrial wastewater
• Design specification and tender review for a two-stage tertiary filtration system using recycled glass filter media to treat the effluent from Croda Speciality Chemicals
• Outline design of a UASB treatment system for domestic wastewater treatment in Accra, Ghana with a population equivalent of 180,000, the second largest UASB in the world to be built at the time 
• Tender evaluation of the Pystallia Wastewater treatment plant, Athens.  The largest treatment works in Europe treating a flow of 1 million m3/d and with a capital cost of £78 m
